Following on from the massive success of our Charity Fundraiser organised in October 2018 where we raised over £7,500, this year we are raising funds to support the work that Macmillan are doing , including setting up a new Cancer Support Centre inside Lincoln Hospital.
Promoting health and activity for all within our local and wider community, we will continue with our 2.5 mile Woodland Walk, 10 mile cycle route and 35 mile challenge ride.
The Market Rasen showroom is perfectly placed on the edge of the beautiful Lincolnshire Wolds AONB for the fairly easy and scenic 10 mile cycle route for beginners and families as well as the more testing 35 mile ride for more of a challenge for the Duckworth Team. This year, with the help of local endurance sport club Lincsquad, we are including a hill climb time trial with prizes within weight categories.
Routes are all ‘on road’ but suitable for hybrids and MTB’s as well as road bikes. Refreshments will be provided at the finish, and also at around the half way point of the 35 mile ride. Mechanical support and stewards will be available on the routes on the day to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable ride.
For those who prefer more sedate Sunday pursuits, we offer a 2.5 mile group walk around the local Willingham Woods.
