Environmental Responsibility and Sustainability
A key part of Duckworth Motor Group’s approach to corporate social responsibility is its commitment to environmentally responsible processes. Duckworth Motor Group ensures that materials from its workshops are reused, recycled or disposed of safely, including scrap metal, oils, batteries and plastics. In addition, everyday waste such as paper, cardboard and IT equipment is handled with care to minimise environmental impact and support sustainable working practices.

To further support sustainability, solar panels installed at the Boston site generate approximately 181,000kWh of energy each year. This investment helps reduce reliance on non-renewable energy sources and demonstrates Duckworth’s ongoing commitment to lowering its carbon footprint.

Supporting the Local Community in Lincolnshire
As a family-run business with sites in Market Rasen, Boston and Kirton, Duckworth Motor Group plays an active role in supporting the local community. The team takes pride in maintaining clean, safe and well-presented sites, while also protecting the surrounding environment, including nearby lakes, footpaths and green spaces. We employ a team of fantastic handypeople who do a great job keeping our sites clean, tidy, and free of litter, as well as keeping our pitches, car parks, garden and plant areas looking their best. We are conscious that our sites are surrounded by nature, which include lakes behind our Rasen site and a dyke, a footpath popular with dog walkers and field surrounding our Boston site. We make a conscious effort to ensure these areas are kept free of litter and are minimally impacted by our work. Recently the team has worked to remove graffiti from walls alongside the boundary of our Boston site to improve the look and feel of the site for our clients and the wider community.

Duckworth also supports local events, charities and community initiatives across Lincolnshire, reinforcing its dedication to the areas it serves. By building strong relationships within the community, the business continues to make a positive and lasting contribution beyond the automotive sector.
