JAECOO 8

The Jaecoo 8 is a large, premium plug-in hybrid SUV designed for families and long journeys. It is the flagship model in the Jaecoo range and is available with either six or seven seats, offering a spacious and luxurious interior with high-quality materials and modern technology. Inside, it features dual 12.3-inch displays, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a premium 14-speaker Sony sound system, and heated, ventilated and massaging seats to enhance comfort.

The SUV uses Jaecoo’s Super Hybrid System, which combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with electric motors to produce around 420–430 horsepower. This allows strong performance while remaining efficient, with a 0–62 mph time of around 5.8 seconds. The plug-in hybrid system can drive up to about 83 miles on electric power alone and deliver a total range of more than 700 miles with petrol and battery combined.

Designed to be both practical and capable, the Jaecoo 8 includes all-wheel drive as standard and a range of driver-assistance and safety features. It aims to combine luxury, advanced technology and off-road capability while remaining competitively priced, starting at around £45,500 in the UK.
