Blood Cancer Shopping Extravaganza

One such event that’s close to our hearts is the Blood Cancer Shopping Extravaganza at Market Rasen Racecourse – just across the road from our Market Rasen store.

The Shopping Extravaganza is part of the fundraising efforts for Blood Cancer UK, a national charity dedicated to funding research and providing support for people affected by all types of blood cancer. Since its beginnings, this annual event has grown into a highlight of the local calendar, bringing together hundreds of visitors across Lincolnshire to shop, socialise, and support a cause that affects thousands of families every year. Blood Cancer UK plays a crucial role in funding life-saving research and helping those affected by conditions such as leukaemia, lymphoma and myeloma.

Once again this year, Duckworth was pleased to play our part. We covered the cost of invitations and postage for the event, and even supplied a car and driver to help organisers and attendees get around the site, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Thanks to the efforts of the wonderful volunteers, organisers and everyone who came along on the day, the event raised over £12,000 for Blood Cancer UK’s vital work.
