Chrissy Ran The London Marathon

Chrissy’s determination and resilience have inspired everyone across the business, and we were delighted to stand behind her as she tackled one of the world’s most famous races for such an important cause.

Chrissy’s marathon journey has not been without its challenges. Originally due to run the London Marathon in 2025, she was forced to defer her place after suffering a calf tear that left her on crutches. Later that year, she underwent major surgery to remove a cholesteatoma behind her ear drum, which resulted in temporary facial paralysis. In November 2025, Chrissy underwent further facial nerve decompression surgery and is thrilled to have regained 75% of her facial movement. Despite these setbacks, she has remained focused and determined to achieve her goal, building back her fitness and training up to 18 miles ahead of race day.

Running the London Marathon has been a lifelong dream for Chrissy. After seven unsuccessful ballot attempts over the years, she decided to secure a charity place and run for the NSPCC, a charity dedicated to protecting children and preventing abuse across the UK. Through their vital work, the NSPCC helps vulnerable children rebuild their lives while working tirelessly to keep young people safe from harm.
