Duckworth Motor Group – 2025: A Year in Review

As 2025 draws to a close, Duckworth Motor Group reflects on a truly remarkable year, one defined not only by innovation and growth but by a deepened commitment to the Lincolnshire community.

This year has been marked by both celebration and reflection, as we remember the sad loss of our founder, Martin Duckworth. His vision, dedication, and passion for Land Rover and our local community continue to guide us every day, shaping the way we engage with our community and deliver exceptional service.

Strengthening our community roots has remained central to our mission. We were proud to return as a main sponsor of the Lincolnshire Show, an event that celebrates local heritage, agriculture, and community spirit. Our stand featured the new Defender Octa, a performance-driven model equipped with a twin-turbo V8 and a 48V mild-hybrid system, demonstrating our ability to blend innovation with tradition. Visitors also had the chance to win a luxury Fortnum & Mason hamper, highlighting the premium experiences we strive to deliver while connecting with the community.

Our support for local sports and youth initiatives has been stronger than ever in 2025. We were proud to once again serve as the main shirt sponsor for both Market Rasen and Louth Rugby Clubs, as well as celebrating their 75th anniversary ball alongside the community. At the same time, we continued as the main shirt sponsor for Boston Rugby Club and maintained our ongoing support for Boston Tennis Club, which helped us mark Wimbledon, a tournament for which Range Rover is also a main sponsor. Beyond these headline partnerships, we contributed to numerous smaller local clubs, reinforcing our commitment to nurturing sport and community spirit across Lincolnshire.

Innovation remained a driving force in 2025, marked by the arrival of the Omoda and Jaecoo brands at our Kirton site when they launched in the UK in January. We were proud to showcase the Omoda 9, a sleek plug-in hybrid SUV, and the all-new Jaecoo 5, offering both petrol and electric versions, at several community events throughout the year. Visitors enjoyed test drives, technology demonstrations, and immersive experiences that highlighted the performance, design, and environmental credentials of these exciting new models, reinforcing our commitment to innovation and engagement with the local community.

Investing in our locations has been a key focus for 2025. At our Market Rasen site, extensive renovations improved and modernised our facilities, while the Boston site is undergoing a major expansion of our parts department to better support Land Rover owners and enhance aftersales service. These investments underline our long-term commitment to Lincolnshire and our dedication to providing first-class service at every touchpoint.

Giving back to the community has always been a cornerstone of our philosophy. In 2025, we launched a scheme offering exclusive savings on Omoda and Jaecoo vehicles to NHS workers, military personnel, police officers, and Blue Light Card holders. This included free home delivery across the UK and the reassurance of a seven-year warranty, emphasising that our support is both meaningful and enduring.

Charitable work and local causes also featured prominently. The Duckworth Dash at Market Rasen Racecourse offered a family-focused event supporting the Lincolnshire Autistic Society. We supported our Sales Administration Manager Lisa Rhodes’ fundraiser for Breast Cancer Now and sponsored various staff member’s running challenges for charitable causes.

Our events and engagement extended to some lucky employees attending major automotive showcases, such as the Goodwood Festival of Speed, where we celebrated innovation, heritage, and the future of the automotive industry. Highlights included the modern Camel Trophy Defender and the performance-focused Defender OCTA Black, alongside classic Range Rovers and exciting future-facing models like the all-electric Jaguar grand tourer, Type 00.

Looking back, 2025 has demonstrated that Duckworth Motor Group is more than a car retailer; we are a community partner. From supporting local sports to launching game-changing vehicles, from investing in our Boston and Market Rasen sites to honouring the legacy of Martin Duckworth, this year has been defined by connection, growth, and resilience. As we move into 2026, we are excited to build on this foundation, with more community engagement, innovative models, and even stronger ties to Lincolnshire.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined, supported, and engaged with us this year. Your trust and energy make everything we do possible. Here’s to an even stronger, more connected 2026.
