Introducing the new Defender 110 Trophy Edition

Inspired by the legendary Camel Trophy, often called the “Olympics of 4x4”, the new Land Rover Defender 110 Trophy Edition celebrates over 40 years of off-road adventure. Finished in heritage colours including Deep Sandglow Yellow and Keswick Green, this special edition features rugged Trophy styling, exclusive badging, expedition accessories and a powerful D350 mild-hybrid engine. Combining iconic Land Rover heritage with modern Defender capability, the Trophy Edition is built for exploration on and off the road.

The Camel Trophy was an off-road competition that began back in 1980 and ran until  until 2000, succeeded by the G4 Challenge. Occasionally called “The Olympics of 4x4”, it featured heavily modified vehicles including the full Land Rover lineup; Range Rover, Land Rover Series III, Land Rover 90 and 110, the Defender, Discovery and Freelander models, all in the special “Sandglow” colour.

All Land Rovers were modified by Land Rover Special Vehicles (SV), known today for taking luxury and performance to the next level with vehicles such as the L494 and L461 Range Rover Sport SVR/SV and the Jaguar F-Type SVR. Modifications included roll cages, underbody protection, modified electrics, winches, snorkels, uprated tyres, Hella lights, roof racks, bull bars and a wide range of navigation, communication and improved mechanical features.

Defender 110 Trophy Edition

28 years on, the final Camel Trophy event featuring a Land Rover model, Defender has released the Defender Trophy Edition. Available exclusively in two heritage-inspired colours - “Deep Sandglow Yellow”, a modern interpretation of the notorious Camel Trophy colour scheme, or “Keswick Green”, celebrating rural exploration in Defender’s home country, both available with Matte Protective Film. It also features gloss black finishing on the bonnet, brake calipers, lower body including scuff plate and wheel arch protection and new gloss black 20in alloy wheels reminiscent of old-fashioned off road steelies with rugged All-Terrain tyres. The Trophy Edition also features Trophy decals and badging all around the vehicle, on the bonnet and C- Pillar, rear badging, Trophy illuminated tread plates. The exposed cross beam is finished in the same exclusive colour as the exterior and unique laser etched endcaps with more Trophy branding. These characteristics come alongside the refinements and enhancements in the 2026 model year  Defender, which you can read more about here: https://www.duckworth.co.uk/news/the-26my-defender

Powertrain

Powertrain-wise, the Defender 110 Trophy Edition is available with the D350 mild hybrid engine, a 3.0 litre straight six turbodiesel engine, complimented by the torque boosting and fuel-efficient hybrid element. This produces 350hp, 700Nm of torque and propels the Defender from 0-60mph in just 6.1 seconds.
