Macmillan Cancer Support & Air Ambulance
Air Ambulance:
We were delighted to donate a raffle prize to Peter and Christine Scott in support of their recent Ambulance Awareness Lunch. This wonderful event not only brought members of the community together but also shone a spotlight on the incredible work carried out by the Air Ambulance service. The Air Ambulance provides rapid, lifesaving treatment to patients in critical situations, often reaching incidents in remote or hard-to-access locations where time is of the essence. Unlike many emergency services, the Air Ambulance relies heavily on charitable donations and community fundraising to remain operational. Every event, contribution, and act of support helps to fund vital equipment, specialist medical teams, and the ongoing costs of keeping the helicopter mission-ready. We are proud to play a small part in supporting Peter and Christine’s efforts and to contribute towards such an essential service that continues to save lives across our region.
Macmillan Cancer Support:
We are also very pleased to support Regan Glenn, who is organising the Fosdyke Tractor Road Run, a fantastic community event that celebrates local spirit while raising money for an important cause. As part of the day, a charity raffle and auction will be held in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support Boston. Macmillan provides invaluable assistance to individuals and families affected by cancer, offering practical advice, emotional support, and financial guidance when it is needed most. Their dedicated team works tirelessly to ensure that no one faces cancer alone. The Fosdyke Tractor Road Run is a brilliant example of how community events can make a meaningful difference, bringing people together for an enjoyable day while generating vital funds for a charity that touches so many lives. We are proud to lend our support to Regan’s efforts and this worthy cause.
