At Duckworth, our commitment to the local community goes beyond delivering great vehicles, we’re passionate about supporting causes that bring people together and make a real difference in people’s lives. That’s why we were proud to host a Macmillan Coffee Morning this year, raising funds for Macmillan Cancer Support, one of the UK’s most impactful charities.

Macmillan’s Coffee Morning is a beloved annual fundraising event where communities across the UK come together over coffee, cake and conversation to raise vital funds for people affected by cancer. Donations from thousands of Coffee Mornings, big and small, help Macmillan provide practical, emotional and financial support to people living with cancer from the moment they’re diagnosed, throughout treatment and beyond.

Our teams at both the Market Rasen and Boston sites were delighted to take part, hosting Coffee Mornings for colleagues, customers and neighbours. Thanks to everyone who baked, donated and joined us for coffee and treats, we managed to raise £161.28 for this incredibly important cause.

Supporting events like the Macmillan Coffee Morning is part of our broader commitment to community engagement and charitable giving. We know that cancer touches many lives, including those of colleagues, friends, family and members of our community, and every penny raised goes towards supporting nurses, helplines, financial guidance and other essential services that make a big difference when it matters most.
