One such event is the Spalding Flower Parade, a beloved community celebration that has a long history in Lincolnshire and draws visitors from across the county and beyond.

The Spalding Flower Parade is a spectacular annual procession featuring intricately decorated floats adorned with thousands of flowers, vibrant marching bands, street performers and a festive atmosphere enjoyed by families and visitors alike. Originally first held in 1959 to celebrate the area’s rich tulip‑growing heritage, the parade has become a signature springtime event for the town, returning with renewed energy and community passion after a period of absence.

This year, Duckworth was delighted to again sponsor the Spalding Flower Parade, proudly supporting an event that showcases local craftsmanship, volunteer dedication and community pride. Our team also took part by marshalling the parade in a Defender 130, helping to keep the procession safe and flowing smoothly for everyone attending.

Supporting the Flower Parade fits perfectly with our commitment to community investment and engagement. We know how much this event means to the people of Spalding and the surrounding area, from the volunteers who build and decorate the floats to the families who line the streets in celebration.
