The Sky Dive for Air Ambulance

Duckworth Motor Group has kindly donated a hamper in support of raising money for a sky dive for the air ambulance for our colleague Lisa. She wishes to raise funds after receiving treatment from the air ambulance, sadly she is unable to do the sky dive however her friends are doing it in her place.

Supporting the Sky Dive for Air Ambulance

At Duckworth, our connection to the community runs deep, and we’re proud to support causes that make a genuine difference in people’s lives. We’re especially honoured when those causes are driven by our own colleagues and friends, showing both courage and compassion. That’s why we were delighted to get involved with The Sky Dive for the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance, an inspiring effort to help raise money for life-saving air ambulance services.

A few years ago, one of our team members, Lisa our Sales Admin Manager, received essential treatment from the air ambulance after a serious accident. This charity provided crucial emergency care, delivering rapid response paramedics and advanced medical support right where it’s needed most, often making the difference between life and death. The Air Ambulance Service in the UK relies almost entirely on public support and fundraising, as it receives no regular government funding, yet carries out countless missions every year to save lives.

Lisa was unable to take part in the actual skydive herself, but her friends rallied together and took on the challenge in her place, jumping from a plane to raise funds in her honour and to help ensure that air ambulance crews can continue their vital work. In support of this incredible effort, Duckworth generously donated a hamper to be used as part of the fundraising activities, helping to boost donations and bring even more attention to the cause.

We’re humbled by the bravery and selflessness shown by everyone involved in this fundraiser. It reflects the very best of community spirit: coming together to support one another, honour shared experiences, and make a positive impact on people’s lives.
