This special annual event is held in memory of a 'larger than life' Lincolnshire man who died from a brain tumour. Football manager and pub landlord Paul Walden, affectionately known as Wally, died in November 2020 at the age of 57.

Brain tumours are one of the toughest forms of cancer, affecting thousands of people and families across the UK every year. Research into better treatments, support and ultimately a cure depends on community support and fundraising efforts like Wally’s Charity Golf Day. By coming together on the greens, local businesses, volunteers and golf enthusiasts helped to raise awareness and vital funds for this important cause.
