What has changed in the 26MY OMODA 9?

OMODA UK has announced the updates and enhancements to their flagship line-up, the OMODA 9 as well as the reveal of the new OMODA 9 SHS-P Black Noble.

The plug-in hybrid OMODA 9 offers a dynamic blend of cutting-edge technology, bold design and outstanding fuel efficiency – built for urban commutes and weekend adventures, it tops OMODAs range with premium features and materials, and advanced safety systems. It’s the perfect choice for families, professionals and eco-conscious drivers across Lincolnshire. The 26MY update brings a host of changes to the SUV.

Suspension:

Re-tuned independent suspension with Continuous Damping Control (CDC) first seen on the JAECOO 8 enhances ride composure – tackling rough roads and potholes by softening the damping and absorbing impacts more effectively, increasing control when braking, managing body movement and role when cornering for increased stability and supporting a settled, refined feel in motorway cruising.

Interior:

OMODA has improved the already high end, luxury feel of the interior with the introduction of front massage seating and expanded electric seat adjustment, with 8-way adjustment for the driver and 6-way for the passenger, with electric thigh bolster available for the drivers comfort too. Additionally, a new suede cloth headlining and a heated windscreen have been introduced for the 26MY.

OMODA 9 SHS-P Black Noble:

A distinctive new black edition of the brands range topping SUV. Finished in matte Iced Jasper Black, it introduces a full exterior black-out similar to the JAECOO 7 Black Luxury model, with chrome elements and details replaced with black accents throughout. This includes matte black roof rails, front and rear bumper trims and black suede cloth interior among a range of other elements across the vehicle. Black alloys complete the car’s darker aesthetic leaving the OMODA 9 SHS-P Black Noble with a distinctive on-road presence.

Price:

Since its introduction in 2025, the OMODA 9 SHS-P has established itself as the defining, range-topping model within OMODAs line-up. Despite a range of interior, exterior and chassis upgrades, the SUV remains at £44,995 OTR with the Black Noble edition priced at £46,495 OTR. The model keeps its class-leading Super Hybrid System in SHS-P (plug-in hybrid) form with a 1.5L turbocharged engine combined with a 34.46kWh battery to produce up to 449PS and 700Nm of torque, resulting in 0-62mph in just 4.9 seconds and over 700miles of range. Alongside the price and powertrain remaining the same, the 26MY O9 keeps the 7 year/100,000mi warranty and 8 year/100,000mi battery warranty.

Both variants of the 26MY OMODA 9 SHS-P are available to pre-order now, with deliveries starting in August.
