This last year has been a difficult one, now more than ever people are starting to value nature and as we step up the urgency to preserve it Land Rover is turning back time to honour some of the greatest moments in British history, inspired by the great outdoors.

We are celebrating all of the greatest moments incited by nature. One particularly close to home, Maurice Wilks first sketched the shape of the original Land Rover in the stunning sands of Red Wharf Bay, on the isle of Anglesey in North Wales in 1947. Little did he know that he’d created an icon.
From Charles Darwin to Beatrix Potter, we have been blessed by those inspired by the great outdoors. We feel it's time to celebrate it.
